Q&A's
What types of workshops do you offer?
I run a variety of creative, hands-on workshops suitable for adults of all experience levels. I can also tailor most workshops for children parties and events. Popular options include polymer clay crafts, flower crown making, collage, mindfulness-inspired creative sessions and more.
Every workshop is designed to be relaxing, fun and accessible.
Where do your workshops take place?
I’m based in the Cotswolds and travel throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Whether it’s a private home, hired venue, office space or community centre, I bring the full creative setup to you.
Can you host workshops for private events?
Absolutely! I regularly run workshops for hen parties, birthdays, baby showers, celebrations and group gatherings. They’re a fun way to make something beautiful while creating lasting memories together.
Do you offer corporate or workplace workshops?
Yes. I deliver tailored workshops for corporate wellbeing sessions, creative team-building events and staff away days. These sessions help colleagues switch off, reconnect and tap into the wellbeing benefits of creativity.
Do I need any experience to take part?
Not at all! My workshops are designed for complete beginners as well as seasoned makers. I guide you step-by-step and provide everything you need to feel confident and inspired.
How many people can take part in a workshop?
Most workshops work comfortably with groups of 5–15 participants, though I can often adapt for larger groups depending on the activity and venue.
What’s included in the workshop?
All creative materials and tools are supplied. I also bring sample pieces, guidance sheets and everything needed to keep the session relaxed, well-organised and enjoyable.
How long does a workshop last?
Most workshops run for 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on the craft. I can tailor timings to fit your event schedule or corporate programme.
How do I book a workshop?
You can either book on to the event directly if you are looking to attend a public based workshop or send an enquiry via my workshop forms or the Contact Me page. I’ll get back to you with availability, pricing and any details needed to shape your perfect session. Deposit Policy To secure your booking, a £50 deposit is required at the time of confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable, as it covers initial preparation, materials sourcing, and securing your workshop date in my calendar. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your workshop unless otherwise agreed. Cancellation Policy If you need to cancel: • More than 14 days before your workshop: You will not be charged the remaining balance, but the £50 deposit is non-refundable. • Within 14 days of the workshop: The full workshop fee becomes payable, as materials will have been purchased and your date reserved exclusively. • Rescheduling: I’m always happy to try and rearrange your workshop date where possible. If you reschedule more than 14 days in advance, your deposit will be transferred to the new date. Rescheduling within 14 days may incur additional costs depending on materials and preparation already completed. If I need to cancel: In the unlikely event that I must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered: • A new date, or • A full refund, including your deposit.
Do you still make handmade pieces?
Yes, I continue to create selected handmade items such as polymer clay and resin jewellery and these are available via the online store.
How long does postage take?
Orders are posted Royal Mail 2nd class. I try to keep postage and product costs down as much as possible to make shopping with a small business as affordable as possible. If you would prefer tracked postage, this is available upon request at a small extra cost, please send an email or message me directly on my Instagram MoonandMade for more details. I do a weekly post office trip on Mondays but please do let me know if you require something urgently and I will do my best to get it to you as soon as possible!
